R2R Pro, full-face helmet of KYT, in which the research of aerodynamic performance went on in the research of the best shape. The inner comfort joins the building technology to offer the best reliability and safety for the end user. The R2R Pro is designed and produced to obtain the best airflow inside the helmet and to offer the best comfort and aerodynamic values. The cooperation with aeronautical engineers, the use of innovative software, and the use of the wind tunnel created a shape right for the aim of this helmet.
Description
Homologation
The helmet comes with ECE 22.06 and ISI certification.
Shell
produced in ADT-advanced, a mix of thermoplastic resins with high resistance to crashes. R2R shell is produced in two sizes: M and L.
Protective Polystyrene
Internal polystyrene liner is realized in two sizes (M and L) to obtain better ergonomics and a variable density. This characteristic allows a gradual and progressive absorption of the energy produced by the impact.
Visor
The visor of R2R is PC-injected, anti-scratch, and optic in class 1 with variable thickness combined with Pinlock Max Vision Ready and Sun Visor. The hooks and rotation system allow for visor removal without tools.
Ventilation
The internal polystyrene liner was studied to work in symbiosis with the air intake on the external shell. Particular channelings, obtained on polystyrene, allow air flow intake, optimal ventilation into the helmet, and a quick exhaust of the hot air.
Inners
The cheek pads and the internal comfort shell can be removed, washed, and replaced. They are made of precious bi-elastic fabric with specific fibers coupled with sponges with open cells for the best airflow in order to keep them fresh and dry.
Retention System
The retention system used is the ‘Double D-RING’ in light alloy.
